TAMUCC History 
The Texas A&M Hotel and Conference Center was opened in August of 2018. TAMUCC is a four diamond hotel located steps way from Kyle Field. TAMUCC is owned by Texas A&M but operated by Benchmark Hotels.

What a Bell person does
Bell Persons are responsible for assisting guests at check-in, check-out and supporting the front desk, concierge, valet and the hotel operations with service needs.
Applicant requirements 
Opening doors for clients or personnel. Room deliveries. Handling luggage for clients. (Consistently moving items 50 lbs to 70lbs) Special deliveries or errands. Maintaining the highest level of employee/guest relations.

Achievements


In this internship I have had great growth in my customer service and people skills. This job has forced me to get out of my comfort zone and be able to talk to anyone along with providing exceptional service. I have also gotten to see the inner workings of how a hotel operated. Moreover, the networking connections and people that I have met during this internship, both guest and employees, is something that I could not have gotten anywhere else.
